The Seventh Trumpet

11:15 Then ¹  the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying:

“The kingdom of the world

has become the kingdom of our Lord

and of his Christ, ² 

and he will reign for ever and ever.”

12:10 Then ³  I heard a loud voice in heaven saying,

“The salvation and the power

and the kingdom of our God,

and the ruling authority ⁴  of his Christ, ⁵  have now come,

because the accuser of our brothers and sisters, ⁶ 

the one who accuses them day and night ⁷  before our God,

has been thrown down.

The more generic “brothers and sisters” was chosen to emphasize the fact of a relationship without specifying its type.
